    Terms and Conditions

    atekdirect terms and conditions

    Trading with Atek Direct Ltd is very easy with a choice of methods to pay for your goods or services. International orders are accepted by credit card or bank transfer only. All payments for goods and services required before Installation or repair.

    Credit / Debit Card - Payment are made through paypal online or in our shop.

    Bacs Transfer- Please Contact us for account details.
    Cash - Cash payment should only be made to members of staff with authorisation from our offices

    Cash payment can be made directly into your nearest Barclays Bank, please ask for a payment slip from a member of staff or request account details from Atek Direct.

    Finance / Leasing - Atek Direct can organise finance for your purchase. Allowing you to pay in three or six instalments, apply today for non fuss financing. Deposit for financing will be required before any Goods, Services or Repairs would take place. Upon refusal to clear all payments may result in confiscation of all equipment, supplies by Atek Direct Ltd and court action will proceed.

    Terms & Conditions
    Items that are not in stock will be substituted with equivalent equipment for you; you will be informed if the item is not in stock with the option to cancel. ** To learn more about the security of personal & financial information - Please see below.
    Any additional work at the time of repair, or work requested after a job has been completed will be subject to additional charges.

    Guarantees: All goods are covered by manufacturers warranty against defect for 12 months unless otherwise stated on the invoice, all warranties exclude VCR heads, Monitor tubes & CMOS/CCD sensors damaged by normal wear & tear. Software does not carry any guarantee and cannot be returned once used.
    Our workmanship is also warranty for up to three months or check with us the length of warranty. Any faults caused by our workmanship will be repaired free of charge for the first three months of installation.

    Inspection and diagnostic fee:

    All repairs received through mail order or shopping cart would be subject to an Inspection and diagnostic fee.

    The inspection and diagnostic fee is calculated on the time spend on dissembling and fault finding. It is reduced from your bill upon successful repair. The inspection and Diagnostic fee is non-refundable, if an estimates refused , written or part unavailable . Minimum cost is based on a repair that required no or minimum parts which is included. Average repair cost is based on our repairs over the last 12 Month but maybe more or less depending on the nature of the fault.


    Collection & Delivery: All equipment's, we collect will be taken to our repair centre, our engineers and technicians will diagnose the fault and call you back within two weeks of collection. We would inform you of the full cost including parts and labour. If for any reason you do not want us to continue the repair you can cancel at that point and your item will be dispatched back to you. You will only have to pay for diagnostic £25 and the delivery and collection charge of £25. Please contact us if your goods and repair has not taken place in 6 weeks.

    Any completed repairs not collected within two weeks will be disposed of, unless you contact us and advice us of the collection date.

    Any non repaired items not collected within 3 Months will be disposed of or may incur storage charges.
     
    Privacy Policy: Atek Direct Ltd does not sell your information to any third party for any reason. We do not share your details with any other company and are only required to keep your details for transaction purposes. All information is securely stored protected from unauthorized access and is disposed of when no longer required. Some marketing material from our company may be sent to your e-mail address. If you do not wish to receive any other information on our parent company products & services, please e-mail us at contact@atekdirect.com with (Unsubscribe) in the subject line.
     
    Credit & Debit Card Security Transaction: We do not receive your credit card details when making a purchase using our online facility. All transactions are processed by the bank who hides your credit card details even from the supplier of your goods. This increases security and the possibility of online fraud. Users who phone to place an order are assured of their privacy and security.
     
    Cancellations & Refunds: To cancel a payment or order, you must inform us within 7 working days of purchase, and a full refund will be issued via the payment method used to pay for the item. If the product, services and repair has already been started, we will not be able to cancel or refund any money and you may loss up to 50% of any deposit payee.
    All refunds must be made within 7 days of placing the order. Goods that have been used or have been repaired cannot be refunded unless there is a manufacturer defect. Refunds will only be accepted with prior written agreement from the directors of Atek Direct Ltd. In addition, our standard terms & conditions apply - available upon request. All correspondence must be made by written letter.
     
    Support: All support enquiries must be made by the methods described below. These policies are in place to ensure that fair access to support is available for all clients of Atek Direct Ltd. Telephone Support is available 10am - 5pm Monday to Friday. E-Mail Support is available 24 hours a day. Emergency call out is available 24 hours a day within Scotland (Please check with the areas we cover before requesting support) flat rate of £35 call out charge. Call out charges must be made payable to the engineer and a receipt will be issued.

Atek Direct Ltd and any sub companies, affiliates, partners or suppliers accept no liability for loss of profit, time, damage or theft of property due to the failure of a third party service or failure of our product or service. Atek Direct Ltd is dedicated to providing a quality service and will endeavor to provide a service thereof as best as possible offering help where possible. Some support requests may require extra payment. Atek Direct Ltd reserves the right to change prices and alter product specification without prior notice.
